How to paste clipping into a document

Yankee Clipper X provides several ways to reuse previously saved clippings.

          Following methods require Yankee Clipper X window to be shown on the monitor.

1.  Double click on desired clipping to place it in the clipboard. Open a document where clipping is to be pasted and hit Ctrl + V keys on the keyboard.

2.  Select desired clipping and hit Enter key on the keyboard to place it in the clipboard. Open a document where clipping is to be pasted and hit Ctrl + V keys on the keyboard.

3.  Open a document where clipping is to be pasted. Switch to Yankee Clipper X. Select desired clipping and click on  toolbar icon to shoot the clipping. Quickly switch back to the document and place the cursor where the clipping is to be pasted. After approximately 5 seconds from clicking on the toolbar icon, contents of clipping will be pasted into the document.

4.  In ActivePaste collection, Yankee Clipper X allows associating Hot Keys with specific clippings. See How to Change Hot Key for more information.

     Open a document where clipping is to be pasted and place the cursor in the position where   contents of the clipping is to be inserted. Hit combination of kyes that were associated with          clipping. After hitting the Hot Keys for desired clippings its contents will be pasted into the

     document.

 

     Following method doesn’t require Yankee Clipper X window to be displayed on the monitor.     Open a document where clipping is to be pasted and place the cursor in the position where         contents of the clipping is to be inserted. Hit combination of keys that were set up for each          Yankee Clipper X collection on the Hot Keys panel of Configuration window. A menu with list of  clippings from collection corresponding to Hot Keys pressed will be displayed. Click on desired clipping to paste its contents.
