Number of AutoFilter collections is unlimited. This collection can be populated the same way as History collection, which means only by changing contents of clipboard. Different programs can copy different things to clipboard; Yankee Clipper X will place all those items in history collection. If user wants to specify collection to which clippings should be added depending on which program copied them to the clipboard, AutoFilter collection must be created. AutoFilter is nothing but association between software, which can change contents of clipboard, and a Yankee Clipper AutoFilter collection to which clippings copied by that program will be redirected.
For example if user wants to place clippings copied from MS WORD in separate collection he/she must create AutoFilter. After creating this AutoFilter collection if new clipping is copied from MS WORD, Yankee Clipper X will detect it and place it in History collection as well as in AutoFilter collection specified by user.
Yankee Clipper X allows redirecting clippings from several different programs to one AutoFilter collection.
There as on option that tells Yankee Clipper X to ignore AutoFilter association if necessary.
List of current AutoFilter collections can be accessed by clicking on File->AutoFilter->Edit AutoFilters.
