Advanced View

Advanced view as simple view contains menu and toolbar on top of the window and status bar on the bottom.  Middle portion of the advanced view consists of three sections. The one on the left is called Outlook control and is used to switch between Yankee Clipper Modes (History, BoilerPlate, ActivePaste on page , AutoFilter and YCRecycle) as well as select what kind of clippings are to be displayed for each mode (RTF, Text, URLs …).

To the right of the Outlook control there are two other components, the one below toolbar contains all clippings for selected mode, the one below it and directly above status bar displays contents of selected clipping.

For each clipping following information is displayed:

Type – Depends on the settings of Application Icons option on Standard Options. If this option is checked then the icon in first column will represent program that copied this    clipping to the clipboard, otherwise an icon describing type of formats that this clipping         contains will be displayed.

Description – This column will contain different contents depending on type of clipping.

For clippings that contain text format, first 50 characters of its contents will be displayed. For           clippings that contain graphic “Graphic” will be displayed. For clippings representing file         that was copied, “File” will be displayed.

Date Time – This column contains date and time when clipping was retrieved by Yankee        Clipper X           from clipboard.

Parent – This column contains name of application that copied this clipping to the      clipboard.

If Yankee Clipper X is in ActivePaste mode there will be one more column.

Hot Key- This column contains hot key associated with each clipping from ActivePaste collection.

Clippings in Advanced View can be sorted by each column by clicking on it. Be default all clippings are sorted by Date Time with the oldest clipping being on the bottom and the latest on top. An up or down pointing arrow located next to column name indicates how clippings are sorted.
